Job Title:

Senior Lease Accountant

Job Description:
  • Manage lease accounting processes in compliance with applicable standards, regulations and lease agreements.
  • Review shared facility expenses, other landlord charges and lease-related costs to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Prepare, analyze and reconcile financial reports and lease payment records ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Conduct analytical reviews to identify anomalies, potential savings opportunities and process improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate lease data, resolve discrepancies and communicate key findings.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations and reconciliations.
  • Compile and summarize review findings for discussions with the Center of Excellence team, landlords and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on updates to lease accounting standards and apply them to maintain compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage lease accounting processes to comply with standards, regulations and lease agreements.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • Skilled in lease abstraction, lease reconciliation and interpreting real estate terms.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and familiar with common lease management tools like Lucernex or CoStar.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders across global teams, both verbally and in writing.
  • Capable of working independently while contributing effectively in a team.
  • Open to working night shift hours.
