
Sales Development Representative

This role involves spearheading a 100% remote sales development strategy for an AI-powered freight documentation solutions provider.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for originating leads, prospecting, qualifying, managing CRM, collaborating with the sales team, arranging meetings, and maintaining consistent engagement with prospects.
Main Responsibilities:- Identify and engage potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, networking, and research.
- Conduct in-depth research on target businesses, industries, challenges, and pain points to personalize outreach and craft compelling messaging that resonates with prospects.
- Assess potential leads by initiating conversations to understand their needs, challenges, and decision-making processes, and determine if they align with the criteria for becoming qualified opportunities for the sales team.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings between prospects and sales executives, manage schedules, send invitations, and ensure both parties have the necessary information for productive discussions.
- Maintain consistent engagement with prospects by providing relevant information, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns, and follow up on previous interactions to nurture relationships and ensure a seamless experience.
- Record and track all lead interactions in Salesforce and other CRM systems, keep contact details updated, log conversation notes, and maintain accurate data for reporting and analysis.
- Partner closely with the sales team by providing well-qualified leads and valuable insights, share feedback on lead quality, contribute to account strategies, and suggest improvements to the lead qualification process.
- Experience in sales (hunting via outbound prospecting).
- B2B technology industry experience (SaaS sales).
- Strong familiarity with Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, Outreach, and Mixmax.
- Experience in start-up environments.
- Excellent conversational skills and ability to engage prospects and build rapport.
- Availability to work EST (New York) or PST (San Francisco) timezone is a must.
