About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and strategic leader to oversee the daily operations of our ship repair production processes. The ideal candidate will have at least ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of managerial experience in international commercial and USN/MSC ship repair processes.

The Senior Ship Repair Operations Manager will be responsible for maximizing output product, eliminating waste, reducing process time, and maintaining production machines and facilities. They will also ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards and are produced in the most economical manner possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Production Department in achieving its goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with Subic Drydock Corporation's-Quality Management System, local and national government regulations, and industrial standards
  • Maintain a positive attitude among production personnel towards producing high-quality products and excellent services
  • Initiate and lead production meetings to discuss important topics such as manpower distribution, work specification, work order, incidental works, productivity, performance, and other production-related matters
  • Assure continuity of operations and maintain process capability through constant review and assessment of outputs in relation to customer needs
  • Ensure maximum productivity without sacrificing safety and quality
  • Control all production records and information required for traceability systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least 10-15 years of experience in ship repair operations management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and motivation skills
  • Able to work in a stressful environment and onboard vessels, dry docks, and shops
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
