Senior IT Administrator

The role of a Senior IT Administrator at BEST CAREERS AND OPPORTUNITIES is to ensure the smooth operation of clients' software, hardware, and network systems. The purpose of this position is to resolve technical issues, maintain and manage client infrastructure, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely response to all service requests raised by clients
- Maintain quality parameters in service request solutioning
- Act as custodian of clients' network, server, system, storage, platform, infrastructure, and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and upkeep
- Perform root cause analysis of technical issues and create an action plan to resolve problems efficiently
- Provide acceptance and immediate resolution to high-priority tickets and services
- Install and configure software and hardware requirements based on service requests
- Adhere to timeliness as per the priority of each issue to manage client expectations and prevent escalations
- Provide application and user access as per client requirements and requests for timely solutioning
- Track all tickets from acceptance to resolution stage as per the resolution time defined by the client
- Maintain timely backup of important data and logs to ensure solution quality and client satisfaction
- Coordinate with on-site teams for complex problem resolution and ensure timely client servicing
This role requires interaction with various stakeholders, including internal project team leads, senior administrators, and project managers. The purpose of interaction is to resolve complex problems, guide administrators, and ensure governance and client relationship management.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Functional Competencies: Ability to follow standards and norms to produce consistent results and reduce risk
- Systems Thinking: Understanding of Wipro systems and ability to perform problem-solving in complex environments
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of devices, networks, and other equipment serviced by administrators
