Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized professional to fill the role of Inventory Manager. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the storage and preservation of materials, ensuring they are handled and stored safely and efficiently.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Incoming Materials:
  • Inspecting crates and materials upon arrival to verify condition and quantity
  • Conducting crate opening, counting, closing, and handling
  • Assisting with quality inspections and signing off on delivery receipts
  • Labeling and marking all materials
  • Updating inventory trackers as required

Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Storage and Preservation:
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Conducting regular inventory checks and updates
  • Ensuring proper storage and preservation of equipment
  • Implementing measures to prevent material damage or theft

Outgoing Materials

You will also be responsible for:

  • Preparing materials for dispatch
  • Verifying handover forms with the Material Controller
  • Signing off on Material Pull Out forms and updating inventory trackers

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years' experience as a storekeeper on construction projects
  • Experience in the water/wastewater treatment sector
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs under pressure

This is a full-time position requiring a mid-to-senior level candidate with strong ownership and teamwork skills.
