We are looking for a motivated candidate to join our team as the Cainiao Warehouse Control System (WCS) - IT Software Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with Supply Chain Engineers to deliver and maintain the WCS footprint for one of our MegaRFQ global strategic WHS physical automation suppliers, Cainiao. You will establish a central WCS application management for standard deployments of automated guided vehicles, 4-way shuttle automated storage retrieval, and automated goods-to-picker physical automation, ensuring comprehensive IT coverage on cybersecurity, governance, compliance, and vendor management. As a technical leader, you will contribute to the design of new features and capabilities to optimize our physical automation systems alongside PS Engineering Digital platform teams.

Are you ready to take on these responsibilities?

• Collaboration and Communication: Engage with service/solution managers to understand business needs, identify application interdependencies, and communicate technical insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Leadership in Development Initiatives: Lead application development projects by coordinating with third-party suppliers and navigating procurement processes to ensure timely and compliant sourcing.
• Governance and Compliance: Oversee adherence to application governance processes throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to the strategic outcomes of global projects like the MegaRFQ for automated WHS solutions.

Do you have these qualifications?

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Language: Conversational Mandarin
• Technical and Problem Solving Skills:Track record of solving business problems with digital solutions. Understanding of IT cybersecurity, governance, compliance, and vendor management practices. Familiarity with physical automation technologies and their optimization in warehouse environments.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Project management/leadership experience. Ability to provide technical leadership and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to communicate technical concepts optimally to both teammates and non-technical colleagues.
