HR Generalist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US Human Resources management and be able to work closely with the HR Manager and VP of HR.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Implement human resources programs by providing human resources services including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health, and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, compliance, and labor relations.
  2. Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate a smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  3. Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  4. Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
  5. Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies.
  6. Organize hard and soft copies of employee records.
  7. Process documentation and prepare reports relating to performance evaluations.
  8. Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys and give actionable insights to improve employees' experience.
  9. Support employees with efficient problem-solving when any human resources issues arise.
  10. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to questions regarding onboarding, taxes, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  11. Educate employees on HR processes and policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong background in US Human Resources management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience with HR information systems.
