Part-Time Family Law Professional

We are seeking a reliable, experienced professional to support our family law practice as a part-time, remote Legal Assistant or Paralegal.

About the Role

This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented legal expert with at least five years of experience in providing administrative support to attorneys. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, tech-savvy, and capable of handling day-to-day legal tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide remote support for family law matters (filings, calendaring, case tracking, client follow-ups)
  • Draft, edit, and organize legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries
  • Maintain case management systems
  • Manage communication with clients, courts, and third parties
  • Assist with scheduling, deadlines, and general admin tasks
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
  • Strong English fluency (written and spoken)
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and use legal software
  • Familiarity with MyCase and Docketwise is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Experience in family law preferred; California family law experience is a strong advantage
  • Strong organizational skills, discretion, and attention to detail
