Job Title: Legal Support Specialist

This role involves providing comprehensive administrative and technical support to the legal team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Monitoring and updating legal developments, as well as conducting research and preparing reports.
  2. Managing permits, licenses, and authorizations, and following up on their status.
  3. Implementing and updating compliance and legal audit checklists, and submitting documentary requirements to government agencies.
  4. Conducting in-depth legal research and gathering relevant data and information.
  5. Assisting with case preparations, liaising with witnesses and agencies, and building relationships with government agencies.
  6. Safekeeping legal documents and contracts, and drafting agreements and memos.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in Word processing.
  • Knowledge of office practices, legal procedures, and legal research.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Effective relationship-building skills within the organization.
  • Knowledge of substantive laws and procedures, especially in the energy sector.
