Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers to increase revenue and expand market presence.
  • Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by developing effective sales strategies and executing them with precision.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize various channels to identify and research potential clients, including networking, referrals, personal connections, and online research.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients through regular communication, needs assessments, and tailored solution delivery.
  • Sales Approach and Presentations: Develop compelling presentations that highlight the value proposition of our offerings and effectively communicate it to prospective clients.
  • Negotiation: Engage in skilled contract and pricing negotiations to ensure mutual satisfaction while optimizing company profitability.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify emerging sales opportunities.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions, providing regular reports to management for performance tracking and strategic planning.
Requirements:
  • Strong Connections in the Consumable Goods/Food Industry: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key players in the industry, particularly non-Japanese companies.
  • Experience as a General Manager or Higher: Possess experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role, with the ability to plan and manage sales activities independently.
