Financial Operations Specialist Needed

We are seeking a reliable Financial Operations Specialist to support the financial growth of creative businesses.

This is a part-time role with the potential to grow to full-time. The schedule is flexible, but you must be available for regular catch-ups in Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple accounts, ensuring accurate records and providing financial clarity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing QuickBooks Online, including reconciliations, categorizing expenses, and invoice management
  • Clearing existing backlogs of bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records
  • Generating and sending client invoices, tracking payments, and issuing reminders as needed
  • Handling international transfers via Airwallex and similar platforms
  • Managing retainer billing for select clients
  • Tracking and organizing financial records across multiple revenue streams
  • Assisting in preparing monthly and quarterly reports

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably with small or creative businesses
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and experience handling international transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, as well as good written and spoken English communication skills
