Job Description:

The accounting specialist role is critical to the effective management of daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, and the ability to work night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Review and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper coding.
  • Manage payment runs for approved invoices and maintain documentation.
  • Oversee employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
  • Record financial transactions in the financial system with high attention to detail.
  • Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and communicate with customers.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, including prepaids, accruals, and key accounts.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow analysis and ad hoc financial reports.
  • Support the month-end close process and identify process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial software, preferably QuickBooks.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work night shift to support clients.
