Job Title:

Home-Based Accounts Payable Specialist

  • This role is responsible for managing vendor relations and maintaining accurate records of invoices and payments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Invoice Processing: Enter vendor bills into a financial management system with accuracy and completeness, perform three-way matches, and research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain responsibility for approximately 300 vendor accounts, communicate directly with vendors, and build strong working relationships.
  • AP Operations: Ensure all invoices are processed according to company policy, monitor vendor statements, and maintain organized records for audit readiness.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, participate in process improvement initiatives, and support system enhancements.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in financial management systems, such as NetSuite.
  • Familiarity with purchase order and three-way matching processes.
