The opportunity

Join Apollo as a Key Accounts & Government Bidding Representative and play a crucial role in driving the company's success in the sales and account management domain. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships and spearheading government bidding processes to secure lucrative contracts.

Key responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including government agencies and large commercial clients
  2. Coordinate and lead the bidding process for government tenders and contracts
  3. Negotiate favourable terms and pricing with clients to maximize profitability
  4. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support
  6. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  7. Provide regular performance updates and insights to senior management

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or account management role, preferably in the retail and home improvement industry or government contracting.
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and winning government bids
  3. Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust with clients
  5. Familiarity with government procurement processes and regulations
  6. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to identify growth opportunities
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
