The Training Officer plays a pivotal role in enhancing employee skills and knowledge, driving business outcomes through effective learning initiatives. This position ensures that training programs are aligned with organizational objectives, supporting employee growth and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough training needs assessments in collaboration with HR and department managers to identify skill gaps.
- Design, develop, and deliver impactful training programs, workshops, and seminars to address these needs.
- Create training materials, modules, and evaluation tools tailored to meet organizational requirements.
- Lead onboarding and orientation programs for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and implement improvements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of training attendance, results, and progress reports.
- Promote strategic partnerships with external training providers to enhance specialized programs.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to talent development strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in training, learning and development, or HR is advantageous.
- Demonstrated facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to craft engaging training modules and materials.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and/or e-learning platforms.
- A detail-oriented and proactive approach with the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
