We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to perform various financial tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly closing procedures
- Ensure accurate tracking of inventory, sales, returns, and refunds, integrating with relevant inventory management systems
- Handle invoicing and payments for service contracts, ensuring timely billing and collection
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members regarding financial matters
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping experience in a US accounting firm, with a focus on e-commerce
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), G Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
