Intake Specialist Role

About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to provide exceptional customer service, manage patient intake, and coordinate appointments in a dynamic operational environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Frontline Patient Communication: Respond to and manage intake phone calls from patients with a friendly and professional demeanor, acting as a remote receptionist.
  • Patient Information Collection: Obtain and record detailed client information, including personal details, location, and a summary of symptoms or chief complaints.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Assess the urgency of the patient's needs and schedule same-day or urgent appointments accordingly.
  • Doctor Coordination: Determine and assign the appropriate doctor for each case based on the patient's symptoms, location, and timing.
  • Communication & Follow-Up: Send out confirmation details and informative follow-ups to patients and doctors.
  • Post-Appointment Follow-Up: Reach out to patients after each appointment to confirm their issue was addressed and they are satisfied with the service.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a customer service, patient intake, or call center role.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Fluent English proficiency, with a clear speaking voice and strong written communication.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: A genuine passion for helping people and providing outstanding service.
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using technology to facilitate workflow.
