Are you passionate about simplifying the complexities of business formation and compliance? We have an exciting opportunity for a professional to join our team as an EIN Specialist. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for obtaining Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) on behalf of our clients, ensuring seamless communication with the IRS, and providing exceptional support throughout the process.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Contact the IRS via phone daily during US business hours to obtain EINs for clients
  • Represent clients professionally and ensure compliance with IRS regulations, maintaining strong relationships and trust
  • Manage and track EIN applications, maintaining meticulous records of all interactions and documentation for easy reference
  • Address any issues or follow-ups related to EIN acquisition efficiently and effectively, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met in a timely manner, fostering open communication and cooperation
  • Own the internal process of submitting ITIN applications to a 3rd party vendor, overseeing logistics and delivery
  • Report weekly on performance metrics such as ITIN submissions, EIN extractions, Cases In Progress, and average extraction time for data-driven decision making
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience working with the IRS on various cases, particularly involving EIN acquisition, with a strong understanding of procedures and compliance requirements
  • An active PTIN number, SSN number, or certification as a CAA (Certified Acceptance Agent) or EA (Enrolled Agent)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to represent clients professionally and handle complex situations
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities, prioritizing tasks and deadlines effectively
