Disaster Relief Customer Service Representative

We are seeking skilled customer service professionals to join our team in a temporary, remote position. This role is contingent on hurricane disaster relief needs and requires individuals who can apply the latest customer service techniques and learn account management systems.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly motivated, and possess a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will assist customers with service inquiries, learn common requests and solutions, and improve the customer's experience.

Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualities:

  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Typing speed of 20+ words per minute
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic understanding of Windows OS
  • Highly reliable with good attendance and punctuality
  • Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation
  • Customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability

Physical and Other Requirements:

This role involves sitting/standing for long periods, using computers and phones, and occasional movement around the office. You must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
