Job Description

MES Customer Support Engineers work independently and as part of the support team to undertake technical tasks that arise during the resolution of tickets. They review incidents, problems, and change requests on our Support Portal, and log in various different systems to resolve issues.

About the Role

The MES Customer Support Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Reporting to the Support Manager and working independently to undertake technical tasks related to customer support.
  • Reviewing incidents, problems, and change requests on our Support Portal and resolving them through various different systems.
  • Providing excellent communication skills to comprehend technical information related to computer software, computer hardware, and network hardware.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and analytical abilities, particularly Aspentech MES.

This is a mid-senior level position that requires experience in SQL databases, knowledge of T-SQL codes, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and manufacturing processes/automation in the Food and Beverage Industries.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Good ability to comprehend technical information related to computer software, computer hardware, and network hardware.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Manufacturing (Plus but not required) and base knowledge of manufacturing processes/automation in the Food and Beverage Industries.
  • Analytical abilities: Aspentech MES (plus).
