Job Description:

We are seeking an expert Solution professional to help our customers unlock the value of our cutting-edge data platform.

The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills and experience in data architecture, ETL/ELT, data science, security, performance analysis, analytics, etc. They will be able to make connections between customer business problems and our solution, communicate these connections effectively to various technical and executive audiences, and provide consultative assistance on architecture and implementation.

Responsibilities:
  • Present our technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
  • Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of our technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position our solution in relation to them
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve our products and marketing
  • Be an advocate and develop mutual trust with the technical audience on the customer side
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience working in customer-facing sales engineering (tech pre-sales) role
  • Strong competency on modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouse/lake, data science and data apps
  • Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL (Python knowledge would be beneficial)
Desired Skills:
  • Data Science knowledge and experience
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • Software development experience with Java, Spark and other scripting languages
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology and cloud data platforms
  • Experience selling data and/or analytics software to enterprise customers; includes proven skills identifying key stakeholders, winning value propositions, and compelling events
  • Sound understanding and experience in the market and technology ecosystem
