Responsibilities:
We are seeking a qualified Business Process Analyst to join our team at Cobden & Carter International. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering variable compensation programs and processes. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Administering variable compensation plans and processing payroll month over month.
  2. Fielding and resolving employee, supervisor, and manager inquiries (tickets).
  3. Creating modeling and data analysis using various systems and data sources.
  4. Completing recurring & ad hoc manual tasks for processes not systematically automated.
  5. Validating and ensuring the quality of data imports and exports, researching any data inconsistencies, performing root cause analysis, and completing full reconciliation to guarantee accuracy.
  6. Understanding Varicent ICM system configuration and process plan design changes and implementations.
  7. Suggesting and testing Varicent ICM system enhancements & process automations.
  8. Leading phone/web-based interactions with leadership - influencing decision making via data-informed recommendations.
  9. Interacting with employees, supervisors, and managers to explain and assist in the understanding of variable compensation plans, their application, calculation, and relevant policies and procedures.
  10. Reviewing monthly results/payments, confirming calculations by reconciling data to source systems, and resolving issues as needed.
  11. Producing ad-hoc analyses for various business partners and internal clients.
  12. Conducting variable compensation support through education and training.
  13. Understanding multiple internal areas of business (Ops, Finance, Human Resources, Total Rewards, etc.) to research, analyze, and resolve potential issues.
  14. Coordinating and completing additional projects as requested.
  15. Supporting ICM systems migration by writing test cases and conducting UAT.
  16. Monitoring incentive plan health/performance, alerting clients of outliers, and proposing remediation recommendations.
  17. Collaborating with consultants to address/enhance internal compensation programs/policies (e.g., incentive plan design, best-practice research, project support).
  18. Providing project management/support for Compensation-related programs/policies.
