Sales Operations Strategist

As a Sales Operations Specialist at Neksjob, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales excellence and process improvement.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing sales process support to client teams, leadership, and internal operations teams
- Assisting Avanade Practitioners in navigating the company's internal sales processes
- Supporting Avanade Leadership and Sales Operations leads in driving efforts across multiple service areas and sales strategies
Critical services include:
- Coordination of review and approval meetings
- Supporting sales reporting/analysis and forecasting
- Supporting internal sales processes/tools and education around those for sales teams
- Driving sales excellence best practices
- Supporting sales governance cadences & execution against plan with a focus on sales forecasting, pipeline health management, sales performance, and data-driven sales insights
- Supporting the execution of the sales planning cycle
- Driving continuous improvement and transformation
This position reports to Sales Operations Leadership, Senior Managers, or Managers. Depending on your specific responsibilities, you may also be aligned to and take direction from business leadership role(s).
Main tasks involve:
- Working independently with minimal supervision
- Being an individual contributor with the ability to balance multiple competing priorities with guidance
- May supervising and being a people lead for a team with oversight from a manager
- Helping create and execute low-to-medium complexity work plans
- Interacting confidently with senior leadership within their sphere of responsibility
- Providing input into the creation of operational processes
- Demonstrating knowledge of supporting tools and processes, with expertise in a specific area of responsibility
- Having an understanding of where and how Sales Operations fits into the bigger picture
To excel in this role, you will require:
- At least 3-4 years of related experience in sales/sales operations; understanding of sales operations processes
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Understanding or experience in using Client 365 or any other tools is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, IE, Outlook), particularly Excel
Neksjob offers a competitive salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
