Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Expert
A dynamic role for a seasoned professional with expertise in managing end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
We are seeking an experienced AP/AR expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in AP or AR, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts, supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, and monitoring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
As an AP/AR expert, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including process improvement initiatives, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end AP and AR processes
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts
- SUPPORT MONTH-END, QUARTER-END, AND YEAR-END CLOSING ACTIVITIES
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Improve collection rates and optimize cash flow
- Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve payment issues
- Generate and analyze AP/AR reports, aging summaries, and key metrics
- Assist in audits with proper documentation and record-keeping
- Recommend and implement improvements to streamline AP/AR workflows
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in AP or AR
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Proficient in Xero or similar accounting software
- Strong in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, reports)
- Comfortable working with large transaction volumes and tight deadlines
- Familiar with audit prep, regulatory compliance (GAAP/IFRS), and cash flow forecasting
