AMS Workday Benefits Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AMS Workday Certified Benefits Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our deployment team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative ideas and effective solutions to support the successful implementation of Workday technology for our clients.

  • You will provide strategic support for client's Workday technology by leveraging your expertise in the Workday HCM product suite, with deep experience in U.S. Benefits.
  • Lead the following as a member of a deployment team: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients.
  • Work closely with confidential client/data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model as well as coach others on product knowledge.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals, business analysis and requirements gathering abilities, and passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Workday Benefits Certification.
  • 4+ years configuring and implementing a combination of HCM/Benefits Solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company.
  • Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Functional experience in one or more of the following areas: HCM/Benefits.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.

This role requires 20% travel or more depending on projects.
