Job Overview

The Office Manager plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations, performance and culture of our Satellite Office. This position is instrumental in ensuring that the office operates smoothly while fostering strong alignment between teams.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the office including facilities, supplies and cleanliness
  • Liaise with building management and service vendors for maintenance and repairs
  • Oversee inventory management for office supplies, equipment and pantry items
  • Liaise with HR and Recruitment teams to execute hiring, training and retention initiatives
  • Provide on-site support for staff queries and admin processes
  • Support compliance with attendance tracking, timesheets and documentation
  • Organise staff engagement activities, events and internal communications
  • Act as a key contact for H&S and emergency procedures

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage local vendor relationships and contracts
  • Serve as the local contact between the Satellite Office and Support Centre
  • Communicate and implement enterprise policies at a local level
  • Analyse skill gaps and performance improvement opportunities
  • Embed company values and cultural alignment within the Satellite Office
  • Provide regular updates to Support Centre management regarding office issues and improvements
  • Coordinate logistics for Support Centre leaders visiting the office
  • Assist Satellite Office leaders with logistical and administrative support

  • Lead and motivate team members for a high-performance culture
  • Establish an effective operating rhythm across teams
  • Manage regular catch-ups with team leaders and stakeholders
  • Educate and empower the team to uphold company culture and values
  • Lead self to deliver priorities and promote a thriving team culture
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure shared success and champion best practice

Work Health & Safety

  • Maintain a safe working environment for team members and visitors
  • Implement and adhere to WHS policies and procedures
  • Consult and avoid introducing new hazards or breaches of WHS legislation
  • Report injuries or hazards and support return to work programs
Requirements

A minimum 5+ years of experience in office or operations management is required. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are also required.

  • Strong proficiency in people supervision with experience leading others directly or indirectly
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and respect, and build strong working relationships
  • Demonstrable maturity, professionalism and integrity
  • Experience dealing with vendors, contracts and office administration
