This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your human resources expertise while working in a supportive and professional organization. Our HR team is looking for an experienced HR Advocate to join us and contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including off-cycle enrollment, changes/updates, terminations, and troubleshooting eligibility, rate, or funding inquiries.
  • Review and process Qualified Life Events, providing direct employee follow-up where necessary.
  • Provide compassionate education and guidance as part of the Death Claim intake process.
  • Work with benefits vendors to ensure enrollment and proper delivery of services.
  • Educate employees on benefits options and support annual open enrollment processes.
Compensation and Payroll Support
  • Educate employees and leadership on compensation policies and practices, including annual base pay adjustments.
  • Guide compensation and payroll questions to appropriate centers of excellence.
  • Provide guidance and demonstrations on HRIS information, processes, and resources (internal & external) pertaining to compensation and payroll.
Talent Acquisition
  • Educate managers on end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
  • Guide leadership to appropriate resources and provide step-by-step process walk-throughs as needed.
  • Assist leaders on entering and locating requisitions in process.
Leave and Retirement Administration
  • Assist Managers regarding education of employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other leave types.
  • Assist employees with inquiries and ensuring compliance with plan guidelines.

A successful HR Advocate should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of HR operations, including compliance and data management.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and tools for operational efficiency.
  • An understanding of payroll processes and benefits administration.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a professional environment.
