Process Optimization Specialist

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our processes and improving our overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ETA Checking and Management: Ensure timely and accurate ETA management for all shipments.
  • Job Updates and Status Tracking: Provide regular updates on job status and ensure seamless tracking.
  • Shipment and Consolidation Registration: Register and process shipments efficiently, ensuring minimal delays.
  • Order Track Report Updates: Maintain accurate and up-to-date Order Track Reports.
  • Worksheet Generation and Distribution: Generate and distribute worksheets as required.
  • Transshipment Processing: Efficiently process transshipments, ensuring smooth logistics.
  • Commercial Document Monitoring and Chasing: Monitor and chase commercial documents to ensure timely processing.
  • Invoice Posting and Automation: Post invoices accurately and automate processes where possible.
  • Sea Cargo Automation Lodgment: Lodge sea cargo automation transactions efficiently.
  • Telex HBL/MBL Uploading: Upload Telex HBL/MBL documents accurately.
  • Arrival Notice and LCL Manifest Sending: Send arrival notices and LCL manifests as required.
  • Organization Creation and EDI Expertise: Create organizations and leverage EDI expertise to enhance processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Graduate Degree in Customs Administration or related field.
  • Knowledgeable in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) principles and practices.
  • Experience with CargoWise or similar systems.
  • Related work experience in freight/brokerage firms.
  • Primary duty is to enter data within SLA (Service Level Agreement) timeframes.
  • Excellent communication skills in email, chat, and online meetings.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and handling freight documents.
