Logistics Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled individual to manage customer shipments and provide exceptional service from PO raised to delivery.

\

This is a night shift contractor role that requires strong understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain management. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient shipment movements, handling customer escalations, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer shipments from PO raised to delivery, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\
  • Ensure seamless shipment movements, handling exceptions appropriately.\
  • Execute end-to-end movement of customer products through our network, including intermodal movements.\
  • Understand and follow customers' requirements through their standard operating procedures (SOP), refining customer operational requirements as needed.\
  • Respond to customer escalations, collaborating with internal stakeholders to solve customer issues quickly.\
  • Collaborate with operations partners and external stakeholders to ensure successful shipment lifecycle.\

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • \
  • Minimum 3 years experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain.\
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.\
  • Able to react quickly while maintaining focus and attention to detail.\
  • Embracing change management - short, medium, and long term.\
  • Experience with ERP/Microsoft Excel, PP + Word.\
