
Business Development Manager

A Business Development Manager understands revenue objectives, market segmentation, motivational resources, and how channel businesses work in tandem with external and internal sales. Strong business acumen is required to identify opportunities and drive growth in IT security solutions.
Responsibilities- Serve as liaison for potential markets, new clients, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities for the company, end users, or partners, advocating for both parties.
- Understand the needs of end users and partners and how their success aligns with company goals.
- Negotiate terms of partner contracts, including price markups, payment terms, delivery schedules, renewals, marketing and sales support, and more.
- Ensure channel partners understand the supplier's products and services and assist with partner training and sales strategies.
- Monitor a channel sales strategy to avoid conflicts and optimize revenue, tracking sales potential, deal frequency and adoption, growth rates, use of MDF, and potential business growth.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Business Manager/Business Development Manager, preferably within the IT Distribution industry.
- Having experience as Product Manager / Business Development specifically in Security Solutions is a plus.
