Responsibilities
  • Governance & Compliance: Develop and implement IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC tailored to the banking sector; ensure compliance with BSP regulations, data privacy laws, and international standards; lead internal and external IT audits and resolve findings; establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Technology Management: Oversee IT performance management (KPIs, SLAs, dashboards); manage IT budget, procurement, and vendor relationships; drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery, infrastructure reliability, and system resilience; support the CTO in strategic planning, resource allocation, and organizational design.
  • Risk & Security Oversight: Collaborate with CISO and Risk teams to manage technology-related risks (cybersecurity, third-party risk, operational resilience); lead risk assessments and business continuity planning for technology functions.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead and mentor a team of IT governance, compliance, and operations professionals; act as liaison between Technology, Risk, Legal, Audit, and Business Units; present governance and risk updates to senior leadership and the Board as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or technology operations.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a banking or financial services environment.
  • Proven experience working with regulatory bodies such as BSP, SEC, or NPC.

Certifications (Preferred)
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation or higher
  • COBIT 5 or 2019 Certification
  • PMP or PRINCE2 (for project oversight experience)
  • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor
