Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving sales targets.
  • Located in Manila, Philippines with established business network.
  • Fluent in Filipino and English, both spoken and written.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Business Development & Sales, with at least 5 years of experience in selling capital equipment.
  • Experienced in the Water Industry with an established network across public and private clients. Proven experience of closing contracts independently.
  • Technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment equipment and/or technologies preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must possess a pleasant personality with a solid background in relationship building and managing people.
  • Computer savvy and possess good knowledge of MS Office; familiar with CRM systems.
  • Versatile personality that can adapt to working with both private companies and government authorities.
  • Bridge cultural gaps and direct the company in the right direction, aligning with the long-term vision of the company.
  • Identify, develop, and qualify early opportunities and leads in the country.
  • Identify suitable partners to increase geographical reach in the country.
  • Participate in tenders and put bids together with selected partners.
  • Manage the required database and ensure sufficient insight to the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member to assume complete responsibility for the Philippines market.
  • Oversee coordination with regional HQ to meet the deliverables to clients and partners in a timely manner.
  • Possess excellent market intelligence and work constantly in positioning the right solution in the market ahead of competition.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, business ethics, and codes, ensuring that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Exposure to legal and regulatory aspects is preferred but not mandatory.
