Position Overview:
The Senior Sales Account Manager will play a critical role in driving new business, nurturing key relationships, and managing a portfolio of high-value accounts. This is an opportunity to leverage your experience in sales, account management, and negotiation while collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Manage a portfolio of high-value client accounts, ensuring excellent service delivery and satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Lead the sales process from prospecting and lead qualification to contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, customer service, product) to align client needs with company offerings.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on account performance and growth opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and threats.
- Track sales activity, and prepare regular reports on performance.
- Mentor and guide junior account managers and sales team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-value accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and proactively to identify growth opportunities.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
