Overview
  • We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Plant Mechanic to ensure the smooth operation of all mechanical systems and processing machines in the hot section.
  • We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic responsible for the repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of heavy equipment vehicles.
Responsibilities
  • Perform general labor and housekeeping duties based on approved work orders.
  • Perform general repairs to basic operations equipment including forklift, jack lift.
  • Inspect and diagnose vehicle and heavy equipment engine, mechanical, and electrical issues.
  • Overhaul engines and under chassis work as needed.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and mechanical problems across industrial plant equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of BS Mechanical Technology or related course.
  • Graduate of any 3-year technology or 5-year engineering course; automotive technology.
  • At least 2 years experience in troubleshooting, repair, maintenance of industrial plant equipment.
  • Knows how to troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • With proven experience in overhauling and under chassis.
  • Experience as plant mechanic in a food production facility.
  • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with exposure to heavy equipment.
  • With NC2 certificates as heavy equipment mechanic (where applicable).
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of related work experience in Heavy Equipment repairs and maintenance.
  • Knows how to use the necessary tools and equipment.
Additional Details
  • Willing to work in a shifting schedule.
  • Willing to be assigned in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental.
