Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Channel Strategy Development Manager who leads the strategic thinking & direction of the assigned channel. This includes strategy creation & PUSO Standards. They collaborate closely with Category Strategy and Field Sales to create a cohesive channel growth story aligned to company strategic priorities. Develops & Evaluates Channel Omnibus Programs. They are expected to be the channel experts & will look at other channel opportunities for potential business growth.
Responsibilities- Primary knowledge center of the channel within the team.
- Supports in research, studies to constantly improve shopper understanding within the channel.
- Regularly reviews the company performance by channel, by area, through internal, external data and recommends appropriate intervention to address opportunities identified.
- Regularly collaborates with Field Sales to gather Field Insights on Account & Channel
- Maintains the collective view of the categories within the channel to drive the achievement of company channel sales metrics.
- Develops and cascades the Channel Standards & Overall Channel Strategy
- Owner of Channel shopper comms & KVs, as well as understanding of ASC guidelines
- Collaborates with Category Strategy to align initiatives to the Channel & Customer Strategy
- Supports the Channel Manager in the TMG Channel Gatekeeping of their assigned channel & approves programs based on Channel Strategy & Company Priorities.
- Ensures alignment of Field Sales BDP Activities to Channel & Company Priorities
- Develops & Evaluates Channel Specific Omnibus Programs. Hands over requirement to Operations for execution.
- Supports the Channel Manager in forecasting volume builds for Channel Omnibus Programs
- Supports the Channel Manager in developing the Customer Story - for Customer Engagements, BRs, & JBPs
- Provides Allocation Principle based on Sufficiency & Channel Strategy for NPD & Promo Packs.
- Supports the Channel Manager in consolidating the Channel Calendar (both TMG & BDP).
- Performs cost analysis for channel programs and initiatives.
- Recommends budgets for Channel Business Development. Leads in process of availing budget of aligned Channel & Account specific programs.
- Graduate of Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably 3 to 5 years experience in Trade Marketing
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong quality and process based orientation.
- Organized and has the ability to move results forward with a cross-functional team
- Quick learner and is highly adaptable to change.
