MAIN PURPOSE OF THE

JOB

To facilitate the provision of appropriate technology transfer

through structured support and funding for small enterprises

nationally

KEY PERFORMANCE

AREAS

❖ Assess small enterprises for the benefit of TTF

❖ Develop business cases to adjudication panel

❖ Administer the technology transfer fund nationally

❖ Establish and maintain accurate database

❖ Verification of supplied technology received at the client

❖ Contribute to the review of TTF policy and processes

❖ Conduct impact analysis on the technology intervention on

❖ Conduct TTF awareness workshops

REQUIRED MINIMUM

QUALIFICATION

❖ Matric (NQF Level 4) and National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in

Commerce/ Technology/ Science/ and or Engineering

❖ Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Commerce or Engineering or

in Commerce/ Technology/ Science/ and or Engineering as

added advantage

REQUIRED WORK

EXPERIENCE

4-6 years’ experience in the following:

❖ Field of technology transfer and technology needs assessment

❖ Assessment of viability and sustainability of small enterprises

❖ Thorough understanding of science and technology sector
