DIVISION: Seda Technology Programme

LOCATION: Seda National Office

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To facilitate the provision of appropriate technology transfer through structured support and funding for small enterprises nationally.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Assess small enterprises for the benefit of TTF
  • Develop business cases for adjudication panel
  • Administer the technology transfer fund nationally
  • Establish and maintain accurate database
  • Verify supplied technology received at the client
  • Contribute to the review of TTF policy and processes
  • Conduct impact analysis on the technology intervention
  • Conduct TTF awareness workshops
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Matric (NQF Level 4) and National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Commerce, Technology, Science, and/or Engineering
  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Commerce or Engineering, or related fields as an added advantage
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

4-6 years in:

  • Technology transfer and needs assessment
  • Assessment of viability and sustainability of small enterprises
  • Understanding of science and technology sector
INHERENT JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid South African Driver’s License
  • Advanced Computer Literacy in MS Office
