JOB PROFILE JOB TITLE: Project Specialist: Technology Transfer DURATION: Twenty-Four (24) Months Fixed Term Contract JOB GRADE: C5 Minimum Midpoint TOTAL CTC: R515 020 - R605 906 NO. OF INCUMBENTS: 1 DIVISION: Seda Technology Programme LOCATION: Seda National Office MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB To facilitate the provision of appropriate technology transfer through structured support and funding for small enterprises nationally. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Assess small enterprises for the benefit of TTF Develop business cases for adjudication panel Administer the technology transfer fund nationally Establish and maintain accurate database Verify supplied technology received at the client Contribute to the review of TTF policy and processes Conduct impact analysis on the technology intervention Conduct TTF awareness workshops REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Matric (NQF Level 4) and National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Commerce, Technology, Science, and/or Engineering Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Commerce or Engineering, or related fields as an added advantage REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE 4-6 years in: Technology transfer and needs assessment Assessment of viability and sustainability of small enterprises Understanding of science and technology sector INHERENT JOB REQUIREMENTS Valid South African Driver’s License Advanced Computer Literacy in MS Office CRITICAL COMPETENCIES Advisory Service Communication Stakeholder Engagement Analytical Skills Business Acumen Problem-Solving & Decision-Making Planning & Organising Monitoring & Evaluation Performance Driven Teamwork Adaptability & Flexibility Policy Adherence Negotiation Basic Computer Skills Office Management Note: The organization promotes equity and diversity.
