The Sales and Marketing Head will lead the strategic direction for both Sales and Marketing functions. This role focuses on acquiring new clients through Direct Accounts and Intermediaries, maintaining strong relationships to drive Renewal Business, and ensuring cohesive and impactful Marketing and Corporate communication strategies. The Sales and Marketing Head works closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in achieving business growth, market penetration, and brand visibility while meeting revenue and client retention goals.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement sales and marketing strategy with clear action plans for New Business (Direct Accounts and Intermediaries) and Renewal Business, aligned to corporate goals and profitable growth.
Set and achieve sales and revenue targets, aligning strategies with organizational goals and market opportunities.
Monitor market trends and industry competition to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with the Chief Business Officer to create a robust market expansion plan, including new product launches and entry into untapped markets.
Provide strategic leadership across New Business Development (Direct Accounts and Intermediaries) and Renewal Business Management.
Lead Sales and Marketing efforts, including defining budgets and resource allocation.
Guide Marketing and Communication Strategy to enhance brand visibility and corporate messaging.
Lead Business Development initiatives and drive revenue growth.
Oversee Budget Management and financial stewardship of sales and marketing activities.
Lead, develop, and manage the Sales and Marketing team to achieve targets and foster growth.
Ensure effective Reporting and Analysis of performance metrics; drive data-informed decisions.
Oversee Compliance and Risk Management related to sales, marketing, and regulatory requirements.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, Marketing, or equivalent.
At least 10 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership, with a track record of acquiring new business and managing renewals within the HMO or insurance industry.
Proven experience in business development, including identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation skills, and interpersonal abilities.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of insurance regulations and market dynamics.
Willing to work onsite and be assigned to Pasig area.
