We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business strategy through talent capability building by strengthening the talent pool and deepening the succession bench.
  • Ensure stable, high-quality staffing across functional groups and develop programs to assimilate and retain key talent.
  • Partner with business leaders to co-create competency models that serve as the foundation for recruitment, development, and performance management.
  • Design and implement critical skills enablement initiatives to close capability gaps.
  • Enable a performance-driven culture by aligning performance metrics, conducting assessments, and managing performance improvement cases.
  • Lead change management efforts, including readiness assessments, strategy creation, and training delivery.
  • Act as a trusted HR advisor by building strong relationships with business leaders, employees, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) to integrate global, regional, and local HR strategies into business operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant HR or business partnering experience, including organizational development, change management, business process analysis, and/or data analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational design, HRIS operations, and the ADDIE framework.
  • Proven track record in implementing organizational development initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Power BI and Power Apps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across the end-to-end HR lifecycle (talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, etc.).
  • Background in designing and improving HR processes and frameworks.

YOUR ROLE

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a strategic and operational leadership role in driving the full spectrum of HR functions for the IT Shared Services Center (ITSSC) in Manila. This role acts as a key advisor to the ITSSC leadership team and is responsible for leading and executing people strategies that support business goals, enhance employee experience, and ensure compliance with global and local HR standards. The HRBP also leads a team of HR professionals and collaborates with global and regional HR stakeholders to deploy relevant programs.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the ITSSC leadership team, aligning HR strategies with business goals to drive performance, organizational growth, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with the global HR to develop, customize, and implement global programs tailored to ITSSC's local context, ensuring alignment with both global standards and local needs
  • Guide leaders on workforce planning, team development, and change management.
  • Champion and embed a strong performance culture through leadership coaching, talent planning, and organizational design.

Workforce Planning & HR Budgeting

  • Collaborate with business leaders and Finance in preparing and managing the annual HR budget, ensuring alignment with headcount plans, compensation structures, and strategic workforce priorities.
  • Monitor HR-related expenditures, identify cost optimization opportunities, and provide insights on workforce cost forecasting and efficiency.
  • Support the business in strategic manpower planning, including organizational changes, ramp-up/down plans, and talent investment decisions.

HR Operations and Program Management

  • Lead the team in delivering core HR services including compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across HR processes, systems, and service delivery.
  • Partner with Finance, Administration, and external HR providers to streamline HR operations and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updates of employee records and organizational data in MyHR and other HR systems, in compliance with global data standards and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor data integrity and partner with relevant teams to resolve system issues, enhance user experience, and support data-driven decision making.

Talent Management & Employee Engagement

  • Oversee and support the full employee life cycle from onboarding to separation, including promotions, transfers, and succession planning.
  • Implement engagement initiatives and employee recognition programs to foster a high-performing and motivated workforce.
  • Guide leaders on workforce planning, team development, and change management.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary cases, grievance handling, and conflict resolution, ensuring due process and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct exit interviews, oversee clearance processes, and ensure timely and accurate processing of final pay and entitlements.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and external audit requirements.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Coordination

  • Manage company-initiated benefits and wellness programs.
  • Oversee payroll activities performed by the outsourced payroll provider and support resolution of payroll-related concerns and discrepancies.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management or its equivalent
  • At least 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with minimum 2 years in a business partnering or HR leadership role in a shared services or multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, drive change, and lead teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with global HR teams and implementing cross-border initiatives is an advantage.
  • Patient and can interact with all levels in the organization
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • With sense of maturity, can handle concurrent tasks and with sense of urgency on priority issues
  • Good organizational skills and time management
