Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients in accessing care and navigating hospital services. Assess barriers to care and engage patients and families in creating potential solutions to hospital-related challenges.
  • Guide the patient through the health care system and help overcome obstacles to receive required care and treatment.
  • Identify appropriate and credible resources responsive to patient needs (clinical or non-clinical).
  • Educate patients and families on the multidisciplinary nature of care, roles of team members, what to expect, and refer questions to clinical staff when needed.
  • Empower patients to communicate treatment preferences and facilitate shared decision making.
  • Reduce barriers to timely treatment by directing patients to emotional, financial, administrative, or cultural support.
  • Encourage patient-family communication with the health care team to optimize outcomes.
  • Work with different groups, health care teams, and resource providers; build professional relationships with the health care team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Follow up with patients to support adherence to the treatment plan and contribute to program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Assist patients in optimizing time with doctors and the treatment team and coordinate with the clinical team as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in customer service related fields (e.g., BS Hotel, Restaurant and Management)
  • Experience in customer service and excellent customer service skills; active listening and attention to detail
  • Computer literate in Windows-based applications
  • Basic understanding of medical terminologies, hospital operations, and payment processing is an advantage
  • Willing to work in shifting schedule and onsite in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig
