JOB DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, performs supervisory, technical, and support functions of Logistics Management Division (LMD) and does other related works. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist and supervise the technical and administrative support staff of Warehousing Inventory and Transport Management. Assist and monitor the receipt and processing of donated and procured goods/supplies, proper documentation/recording of warehouse/supply/logistics management transactions. Submit outputs of subordinates against performance standards and provide inputs to the Division Chief in rating the performance of subordinates and in identifying performance gaps and proposed staff development interventions. Update the LMD Division Chief on the status of its deliverables/tasks regularly. Provide inputs/details prior to submission of LMD’s Accomplishment Report. Prepare/Consolidate Report on Supplies and Materials Issued. Supervise the day‑to‑day operations of the Warehouses and ensure that all tasks are carried out in order. Ensure the implementation of warehouse stocking plans/layout, systems, processes and procedures, and recommend its developments and enhancements. Monitor the implementation of the approved warehouse stocking plans, receive, handle, store, inventory and dispatch of relief commodities for the distribution as per dispatch plans and the submission of tally reports, notations of commodity movement activity in the warehouse registers, stock and bin cards, among others. Review/recommend the development and enhancement of policies / guidelines / systems / procedures on warehouse/supply and logistics management. Validate data/information accuracy and consistency. Assume supervisory functions in the absence of the LMD Chief as delegated. Perform other tasks as may be required from time to time. JOB OUTPUTS Communications and reports related to the functions of the Logistics Management Division, Warehouse and Transport Management Section. Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports regarding Inventory of Food and Non‑Food Items (NFIs), management of warehouses and forwarding services. Concept Notes and Activity/Project Proposals.
