With knowledge in pertinent rules, regulations and laws on government procurement process. Able to work harmoniously, competently and effectively even under pressure. Great attention to details. Willing to work long hours, even on weekends and holidays especially during disaster response operations. JOB DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, performs supervisory, technical, and support functions of Logistics Management Division (LMD) and does other related works. Functions and Responsibilities Acts as the Head of Quality Assurance and Control Section; Supervises the technical and administrative support staff on its day-to-day operation and ensures that all tasks are carried out in order; Reviews reports generated from the Quality Assurance and Control Section specifically on the inspection of all processes in NRLMB; Attends meetings, conferences and other activities in behalf of the Division Head as delegated; Acts as overall in-charge in the absence of the Division Head as delegated; Identifies operational efficiency by comparing actual results versus plans/forecasts/standards; Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data; Supervises the conduct of Quality Control audits in the receipt, internal issuances, production, warehouse management and release of goods; Participates in monthly inventory taking; Reviews proper accounting of all received, released and disposed goods and materials through the following monitoring reports: Production Daily Report Expired Goods/Items Report Inspection Report Waste and Spoilage Report Other pertinent reports Reviews Acknowledgement Receipts of all accepted deliveries; Validates data/information accuracy and consistency; Assists Disaster Response Management Bureau in the evaluation of acceptability of new or emerging FNI; Provides technical assistance to partner/stakeholders and FOs counterpart to address the challenges encountered in the production of relief goods; Performs other tasks as may be required from time to time.
