Job Description Under general supervision of the Chief of the Property and Asset Management Division; with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgement, serves as Head of a Section, engaged in moderately difficult but routine work or performs difficult and responsible work, with a very broad knowledge in warehouse and supply management. Functions and Responsibilities: Serve as Section Head of the Property Accountability and Monitoring Section (PAMS); Review outputs of personnel, oversee and supervise personnel under PAMS Prepare/draft documents and communications needed in responding to issues and concerns pertaining to property recording, property accountability, inventory, disposal, and relief from property accountability; Identify, recommend/draft policies, guidelines, advisory on areas of assignment; Provide Technical Assistance to Offices, Bureaus and Services as well as Field Offices on matters relating to property accountability and property monitoring; Conduct regular reconciliation of property records with the Financial Service – Accounting Division Representative and update property records based on the result of the reconciliation activity; Participate in activities relating to physical count of properties and supplies as member of the Inventory Committee for Central Office (ICCO); Participate in activities relating to disposal of unserviceable, no longer needed properties and waste materials, as member of the Secretariat of the Property Disposal and Awards Committee (PDAC); Provide guidance to concerned personnel (Computer Programmers) in enhancing the existing system relative to property accountability and monitoring; Ensure efficiency in the delivery of the Division’s services pertaining to property accountability and monitoring; Ensure compliance with internal and external reportorial requirements; Attend meetings/represent the Division in different Committees, as may be assigned; Perform related tasks that may be assigned from time to time. Job Outputs: Letters/Memoranda/Notice of Meetings/other communication documents; Briefers, reports, minutes of the meeting/summary of agreements and updates; Draft policies/guidelines on real property management, concept papers/notes, briefers, among others; Project proposals, Terms of References and similar documents; Other reports as may be required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job Two (2) years of relevant experience Eight (8) hours of relevant training Career Service (Professional)/Second (2nd) Level Eligibility Application Requirements: Application Letter stating the desired position, item number/code, and office/bureau/service/unit addressed to Director Jennifer M. Rizo, Director IV of Human Resource Management and Development Service; Duly accomplished, subscribed and sworn/notarized Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with a recent passport-size picture and thumb mark and Work Experience Sheet. Authenticated or photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR). Photocopy of relevant Training/Seminar Certificates; Certificate/s of Employment (COE) - required for work experiences acquired outside DSWD Central Office.
