What You'll Do in This Role

Be part of our client's team as an Accounts Payable Specialist and manage vendor accounts, payment applications, reconciliations, and reporting with accuracy. You will also support accounting projects, ensure compliance with financial processes, and use Excel and NetSuite to deliver data-driven insights.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• 2-3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or accounting-related role (with exposure to both AP and basic accounting preferred)
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
• Degree or coursework in Accounting or a related field preferred
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Soft Skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable, responsive, and professional demeanor

Nice to Have

• Background in medical service organizations (MSOs), dental, chiropractic, or other healthcare services
• Familiarity with invoice automation tools (e.g., bill capture platforms)

Key Areas of Responsibility

Accounts Payable Management

• Enter vendor data and bills into NetSuite
• Apply payments to open invoices accurately and on time
• Respond to vendor inquiries and manage vendor relationships professionally
• Perform payment applications and basic reconciliations

Accounting & Data Entry

• Ensure expenses are categorized to appropriate GL accounts
• Assist with basic accounting projects as assigned
• Support month-end and year-end tasks when needed
• Maintain organized records and documentation

Reporting & Excel

• Use Excel to track and report data
• Build and update spreadsheets using VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas
