MEDMARK TRAVEL Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations & Sales Executive (TRAVEL AGENCY) to join its team. This position is for candidates with work experience in travel agencies only. This is a full-time office job.

Overview

Role focuses on sales and operations within a travel agency context, including corporate travel, group travel, and client/supplier coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Manage travel operations including quotations, reservations, air ticketing, and invoicing.
  • Build detailed travel itineraries for groups or luxury individual clientele.
  • Handle client and supplier communications; ensure responses are received within 24 hours.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Process various confirmations and chaser queues; ensure documents are sent in a timely manner upon receipt of client information.
  • Proactively generate sales revenue; maintain relationships with clients and suppliers; portfolio of clientele based on personal connections.
  • Work with international suppliers and vendors (DMCs, hotels, transportation companies, airlines, etc.).
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best rates and service quality.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and client information; manage multiple priorities with strong time management and minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate interest in travel, geography, and new travel trends; knowledge of world destinations, cultures, locations, and historical sites.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 4 years of practical and successful experience in travel agency Sales and Operations or a similar role in a travel agency.
  • Experience in sales: holding a portfolio of clientele that follow and buy services based on personal connection with the candidate; proactive generation of sales revenue.
  • Experience with corporate travel (conferences, meetings, incentive trips) or leisure group travel for international and domestic travel.
  • Excellent English communication skills – verbal, presentation, and written.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure; service-oriented and personable with above-average interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • University degree preferable (preferable in Tourism and Hospitality Management).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
  • Experience with handling travel visa requirements and insurance.
