Job Duties
  • Grow business by identifying and selling the ZAP platform to retail owners; maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Sell platform by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.

Position Summary: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) reports to the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is a member of the Executive Team with principal responsibility for the strategic planning and day-to-day management of the Operations Department (Production, Engineering & Maintenance and HSSE). The position is accountable for the establishment and management of the overall vision and operating strategy for the Operations Department, including overseeing, monitoring, and evaluating performance.

Key Responsibilities: Manages and oversees all daily end-to-end operational aspects of the Operations Department (Engineering & Maintenance and HSSE), and relevant contractors, with overall responsibility for providing internal leadership, managing people, budgets, and targets; ensuring activities are completed on time, safely, within budget with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations. Keeps the CEO informed of the conduct of day-to-day operations and any material deviations from goals or policies. Drives governance, risk management, and industry standards across Operations to support strategic objectives. Develops actionable business strategies and plans aligned with short-term and long-term objectives. Optimises department capabilities with the Executive Team; manages performance and budgets of projects and operations, including contractors. Implements department goal setting, performance management, and annual planning; monitors performance against standards and targets in areas such as efficiency, cost control, sales revenue and legal compliance; provides reports on operational status. Leads and evaluates operational responsibilities to ensure regulatory compliance. Coordinates development activities with relevant departments and third parties to achieve project objectives on time. Negotiates business agreements related to production, development, supply and sale of products to maintain a competitive position.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • BSc and MSc Engineering Degrees with supporting MBA; at least 15 years’ Oil and Gas experience in a similar position.
  • Proven track record in Operations Management across multiple departments and leadership roles locally and internationally.
  • Experience developing and implementing operations systems, policies, processes and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of managing oil and gas development and production operations.
  • Understanding of process improvement and optimization tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Oil and Gas Health & Safety standards and procedures.
  • Strong project and line management, and resource planning skills.

The CFO will oversee the full financial function of the company, ensuring healthy financial operations, controls, and scalability. Role is both operational and strategic — from building monthly P&L and cash flow models to supporting fundraising and expansion.

Strong background in P&L management, cash flow forecasting, balance sheet controls, and reconciliations. Proficient in financial modeling and Excel/Sheets; experience with accounting tools. Duties and Responsibilities: Understand and comply with inventory purchase policy; initiate purchase orders timely. Track order status with suppliers and update Microsoft AX.
