Overview

The Recruitment and Employee Relations Officer is responsible for overseeing the recruitment and selection process, as well as managing employee relations for the three companies: Webforest (web development firm), Sellout Trading (luxury perfume brand), and Koufuku (Japanese restaurant). This role ensures the organization attracts and selects top talent while fostering a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment. This role will also manage recruitment campaigns, handle employee relations issues, and ensure consistent and fair treatment of all employees.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Selection: Receive Manpower Requisition Form from different requesting departments and review if the request is necessary based on the attached organizational structure of the department and Job Description.
  • Proceed with hiring upon receipt of the approved MRF (30 working days to fill in every vacancy).
  • Prepare accurate Job Ads based on the approved MRF and attached JD.
  • Post Job Ads on multiple platforms (PESO Offices, Schools, Facebook, LinkedIn, Jobstreet, Indeed and other platforms).
  • Receive applications and conduct an initial screening, providing at least three potential candidates per position.
  • Administer examinations of potential applicants before forwarding to the second set of interviews.
  • Conduct background checks for the approved candidate to fill the vacancy.
  • Ensure complete requirements are received before onboarding.
  • Prepare the 201 file for the new employee.
  • Forward complete 201 file to HR Compensation and Benefit for Employee Masterlist Updating.
Employee Relations
  • Champion in addressing all Incident reports.
  • Update Incident report monitoring from time to time.
  • Assist department heads with Notice to Explain preparation and issuance.
  • Ensure that all NTE issued receive a written explanation from the concerned employee.
  • Coordinate with the immediate head of the concerned employee after receiving the written explanation to issue a notice of decision.
  • Serve the NOD and close every case within 30 days from the incident (subject to extensions up to 30 days for special cases).
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Licenses/Certifications/Trainings: Human Resources related trainings and seminars.
  • Prerequisites for the Job: Proven experience in handling Recruitment and Selection/Employee Relations administration.
  • Personal Characteristics & Competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills; excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly; ability to manage sensitive and confidential information; ability to handle shifting and multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth environment; flexible, creative, well organized; ability to work harmoniously in a multi-cultural team.
