JOB SUMMARY
The Recruitment and Employee Relations Officer is responsible for overseeing the recruitment and selection process, as well as managing employee relations for the three companies: Webforest (web development firm), Sellout Trading (luxury perfume brand), and Koufuku (Japanese restaurant). This role ensures the organization attracts and selects top talent while fostering a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment. This role will also manage recruitment campaigns, handle employee relations issues, and ensure consistent and fair treatment of all employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment and Selection:
Receive Manpower Requisition Form from different requesting departments and to review if the said request is necessary based on the complete attachment of the said file (organizational structure of the department and Job Description).
Proceed with hiring upon receipt of the approved MRF (30 working days to fill-in every vacancy).
Making accurate Job Ads based on the approved MRF and attached JD.
Job Ad posting on different platforms (PESO Offices, Schools, Facebook, LinkedIn, Jobstreet, Indeed and other platforms).
Receive applications and conduct an initial screening and provide at least three potential candidates per position.
Administer examination of potential applicants before forwarding to 2nd set of interviews.
Conduct background checking for the approved candidate to fill in the said vacancy.
Make sure to receive complete requirements before onboarding
Prepare the 201 file of the new employee.
Forward complete 201 file to HR Compensation and Benefit for Employee Masterlist Updating.
Employee Relations:
To champion in addressing all Incident reports.
Ensure to update from time to time the Incident report monitoring.
Assist department heads on Notice to Explain preparation and even on issuance.
Ensure that all NTE issued will receive a written explanation from the concerned employee.
Coordinate with the immediate head of the concerned employee after receiving the written explanation to come up with a notice of decision.
Make sure to serve the NOD and close every case 30 days from the incident (except for those special cases which may consider extending for another 30 days depending on the nature of the case).
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Licenses/Certifications/Trainings:
Human Resources related trainings and seminars
Prerequisites for the Job:
Proven experience in handling Recruitment and Selection/ Employee Relations administration.
Personal Characteristics & Competencies & Other Requirements:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Ability to handle shifting and multiple priorities in a fast paced, growth environment.
Flexible, creative, manages own time, and well organized.
Ability to work harmoniously in a multi‐cultural team.
