Overview

Key Account Manager (KAM) role at L’Oréal. The KAM is expected to be an influential negotiator, strategic planner and insightful analyst who can champion and drive the brand's vision, and create beauty that moves the world.

Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of the Group Key Account Manager, build the joint business plan with the account(s). Contribute to the commercial vision by sharing account perspective, risks and opportunities.
  • Build, accurately forecast and achieve the account results: turnover, market share, profit. Plan all growth drivers accordingly.
  • Prepare and lead the account negotiations, escalating when relevant. Build the action plan to implement the division and channel strategy. Ensure its execution and tracking down to store level and sell out. Suggest plan adaptation when needed.
  • Act as the expert of the account to feed a retailer centric account planning process, to ensure as much alignment as possible.
  • Build a retailer specific development plan and a compelling story to get retailer buying in.
  • Build deep customer intelligence and a strong network with key stakeholders at the retailer.
  • Work closely with other departments including Supply, Catman, Finance and Marketing.
  • Connect account stakeholders of all functions with their L’Oréal counterpart. Ensure the consistency of L’Oréal voices when speaking to the retailer.
Qualifications
  • Has a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in account management, sales or related field
  • Has experience in managing key accounts (preferred)
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • A Master’s degree or relevant certifications would be a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, e commerce platforms, project management tools, and data analytics software
