Overview
The Key Accounts Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with strategic clients in the chemical industry. This role focuses on driving sales performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for business expansion. The Key Accounts Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs while aligning with company objectives.
Responsibilities- Manage and grow relationships with assigned key accounts, ensuring strong client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability goals.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and explore potential partnerships.
- Provide clients with product knowledge, technical support, and value-added solutions relevant to chemical applications.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key clients, addressing needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to inform business strategy.
- Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, production, supply chain, and quality assurance) to ensure timely delivery and resolution of client concerns.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management review.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in line with company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in key account management, business development, or technical sales within the chemical manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of chemical products, applications, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
